The Daycare is open from Monday to Friday, from 6:45am to 6pm.

It is suggested that the child arrives before 9am so that he/she may take advantage of all the activities offered by the Daycare.

Clientele

We accept children from 2 months old to 5 years old.

Ratio and constitution of groups

Nursery: 2 months to 17 months                          1 Educator for 5 children
18 months to 4 years old                                         1 Educator for 8 children
4 years old to 5 years old                                        1 Educator for 10 children

Registration

Upon registration, parents must complete the registration form, provide all required documents and sign the authorizations and the service agreement. Parents must inform us of any changes in address and telephone number. The registration renewal period is on September 1^st of each year.

Service agreement

All parents must sign the Service Agreement. The child’s attendance must be as described in the Service Agreement.

Any change to the child’s attendance entails the signing of a new Service agreement.

Before authorizing a change in attendance, the Director must verify availability in accordance with the ratios.

Children waiting list

First Steps Academy determines the selection criteria for the registration of a child based on the availability of spaces.
